The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
The Mile High Chapter is affiliated with the American Red Cross and is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The Red Cross is not a government agency; it relies on donations of time and money to do its work.
Our services are provided with the commitment of thousands of local volunteers who respond to disasters, teach lifesaving skills to tens of thousands, provide transportation for the sick and elderly and offer support to U.S. service members and their families in Colorado.
The Mile High Chapter serves 19 counties: Adams, Alamosa, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Conejos, Costilla, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson, Lake, Mineral, Park, Rio Grande, Saguache and Summit.
