Oh Denver……..Happy Gaga Monday Mile High! Lady Gaga’s new CD “Born This Way” was released today. Did anyone get a chance to gargle for Gaga this past weekend? I defiantly did
I also picked up a copy of her new CD and have to say that it’s absolutely danceable! Go out and get your copy as soon as possible and bring in summer with the right jams! TURN IT UP!
This weekend was packed full of events I got my fair share of excitement. Thursday night was an interesting night filled with giveaways, free drinks, and booty shaking. Denver’s HOTtest gogo dancers set foot on stage to compete to be titled the best in Denver. I have to say I thought the girls were pretty kick butt. Friday night HOT107.1, Krystal, and the HOTourage where all at BETA Nightclub enjoying ladies night. I have to say my ladies and I had a blast completely enjoyed watching DJ Petey and DJ Shares tear the turn tables apart! Saturday U2 amazed thousands in Denver with a show full of U2 hits if you weren’t there you surely missed out (NOT TO BRAG).
Well I have to say as crazy as the weekend was I think it is some time for some much needed R&R because I am sure next week will be even crazier being as it’s memorial day and all. This girl is out and back to the grind. Keep it HOT Denver!

Happy New Year
January 10th, 2011 by Hot Girl
Okay lovers, the New Year is upon us and I hope that you have all been able to stick to your resolutions thus far. I certainly have not. Along with the holidays, there also came a drastic drop in the temperature in Denver. I have been tirelessly looking for ways to keep warm that doesn’t involve hiding inside of my apartment until May (I’m unfortunately not a part of the small demographic that can pull off a beanie and still look adorable). Luckily, some randomly obscure and probably undeserving person has nominated January as the month of all things om nom nom and warm.
Did you know that January is National Soup Month, National Tea Month, and National Oatmeal month? IT’S ALMOST LIKE THEY PLANNED THIS ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER. I wonder if it’s all those National Yummy and Warm Things Month in the southern hemisphere as well? It wouldn’t make much sense I guess….About as much sense as it does that IT’S ALSO NATIONAL BATH SAFETY MONTH!
So snag some soup, brew some tea, do whatever it is people do with oatmeal, and jump in the tub. But, before you do, make sure you review these bath safety tips. We need you alive to come back and read my next blog entry.
Bathtub Safety: if you can stand, but need additional help standing up or sitting in the tub, or getting out of the tub:
Use a bath tub rail as you enter or leave the tub. There are many different styles that fit over the tub edge without damaging the tub. Be sure to select the right height and grip style to suit your needs.
Have grab bars professionally installed wherever they are needed. Grab bars come in a variety lengths, textures and styles, and will help you balance as you stand or sit, as well as giving you something to hold if you begin to fall. Please note: a towel bar is not a substitute for a properly installed grab bar—towel bars are not designed to hold your weight and are not safe.
Have a professional install a tension pole between the floor and the ceiling in your bathroom. This will give you additional support in the bathroom as you move around.
Bathtub Safety: If your balance is poor or your legs are weak:
Purchase a bathtub bench or chair that helps you get into the tub. These products fit over the edge of the tub with legs inside and outside the tub and you sit on the bench and slide across. Once you are in the tub, your body is even with the edge of the tub. Tub benches with back rests provide back support.
Mechanical bath lifts (powered by batteries or water) will help you lower yourself into the tub. Dynamic Living recommends battery-operated models because they reduce the risk of developing mold in the mechanism. Inflated bath chairs come with an air compressor you can use to inflate them, and they take up less space so they’re better for traveling.
Bathtub Safety Tips for Everyone
No slippery tubs. Install non-slip treads or a bath mat inside the tub. Keep the tub clean to avoid slippery soap scum or mold.
No slippery floors. Use non-slip bath rubs wherever you walk. A weighted shower curtain will help to ensure that no water leaks onto the floor. If the toilet is near the tub, keep the lid down so you have a safe place to sit if needed.
Plan plenty of time for your bath or shower; rushing can increase your risk of falling.
If you feel unsure when taking a bath or shower, ask a friend or family member to stay nearby room in case you need help. Installing a call button or intercom can also help you feel more secure.
