Monday Movie Madness tonight! Apollo 13 will be shown down at Infinity Park Stadium Glendale. Gates open at 7:00 and the movie starts at 8:00 and everyone gets in for FREE! The movie stars Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Paxton. It seemed to be the perfect mission-another trip to the moon for three of NASA\'s finest astronauts. But when Apollo 13 pilot Jim Lovell (Tom Hanks) uttered a simple, heart-stopping message across the dead of space, \"Houston, we\'ve got a problem,\" mission control and the rest of the world learn that something had gone horribly wrong.
Parking is available in a parking lot on Cherry Street just north of the stadium. People can bring blankets, picnic, etc. (no alcohol, dogs/pets).

This weekend is the Colorado Renaissance Festival located in Larkspur. Every weekend has a different theme and the theme this weekend is MUSIC & DANCE FESTIVAL!

I’m sad to inform you that the Pitbull concert that had been rescheduled for this Thursday is cancelled. Don’t worry refunds are available, but I’m totally bummed, that show was gonna be off the hook!

Within the last 2 days, 3 American icons have passed away.
The first icon is Ed McMahon, famous for being Johnny Carson’s side kick for 30 years on NBC’s "The Tonight Show". You may know him from saying the famous words Heeeeeeeere’s Johnny! He passed away Tuesday June, 23 at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California at 86 years old. He had been battling cancer and was in the hospital for pneumonia recently. As of now his cause of death is unknown. 
The second icon is Farrah Fawcett. She is known for being one of the original Charle’s Angles from the TV show’s first season. She was a 70’s sex symbol with her beautiful feathered blond hair. All the girls wanted her hair style! Farrah passed away today in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 62 from a long battle with anal cancer. In the middle of the news stations talking about how she will be missed, and her iconic status the moon man himself passed away.
The king of pop, Michael Jackson passed away today. He was 50 years old and only a little more than 2 months shy of his 51st birthday. He is one of the most successful rags to riches stories, and has accomplished amazing things for the music business. 5 of his 10 solo albums are world’s bestselling albums, and has had 13 number 1 singles. He is one of a few artists to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame TWICE, and is one of the world’s most famous men. He has earned many awards like Guinness World Records, 13 Grammy Awards, and many others. He started his musical career at only 11 years old as a member of the Jackson 5. He dancing will forever be legendary: the moon walk, the tut, the robot, the crotch grab, and so many more!
They say death comes in threes, and man o man did it come in threes this week.
My wishes go out to all three families! Michael Jackson you will never be forgotten. You are one of music’s greatest accomplishments! Live on Michael, live on…
